So, don't hold your breath for an updated ME arriving anytime soon. Some people have immersed themselves in it and can make great missions and campaigns, but by all accounts, it's a slow and tough process even for those who have a fair idea of what they're doing. It was released because people from the community really wanted to have access to a mission editor. In fact, he has stated that the ME was created as a developer tool rather than a tool for the end user. Remember, it's a small studio operating in a very niche market. Jason, the games producer, has expressed before that there's currently no immediate plans to make the ME more user friendly due to time/resources that are needed elsewhere. It's important to remember, that 1946 & BoS are too different games/engines so nothing will simply port over. In saying that, it is usable if you know how. ![]() It does seem like a very difficult nut to crack and isn't very accessible to the average user. I have little to no experience with the ME, other than re-saving missions etc.
